caroline + tom: 8.22.09

Caroline and Tom traveled to Montana for their incredibly beautiful wedding held at Moonlight Basin this summer . . . it was my first time photographing there and I loved the ambiance of the entire scene. Leslie Lukas coordinated the design and flowers and it was hands-down my favorite setting so far. Her style is timeless and elegant, and her personality and spirit make the planning and event such an enjoyable experience!

When I arrived at Caroline's lodge, she was completely relaxed, enjoying time with her sisters and friends, ready to just enjoy the day ahead of her. :)

Caroline's dress and shoes, as well as the bridesmaids dresses, were all J. Crew, and the style was impeccable.







The clouds never broke, but the sky provided the most amazing color that complemented the wedding colors perfectly. The ceremony was a photographer's dream!









I chose to leave the original color in the majority of these photos because it was so fresh and organic, as were Caroline and Tom's style. My goal was to keep the photographs as natural as the couple . . .









And Leslie provided stunning tablescapes and gorgeous flowers in this quaint dining room.



And that bouquet? Are you kidding me?



Besides everything being perfect, the wedding party was beautiful . . .



The toasts were emotional and hysterical . . .





The cake was gorgeous AND delicious . . .





The dancing was enjoyable . . .





And Caroline's sister is still officially in love with her husband some years and two adorable little boys later :)



I did get chased by a fox that was lurking around the property and almost died, but all drama aside, I survived the terrifying experience ;) Congratulations Caroline and Tom! Much love and appreciation to you both!
