What's a post without a photo? Here is Stella to bring a smile to your face . . .



There are nights I sit down and want to blog so badly, and yet nothing will come to me. There isn't a shoot or wedding to post, there really aren't any fun, new photos of the kiddos to post, and while I could blog about something personal, I always wonder, do people really want to read about that on a photography blog? And, how much do I want to share?

But it seems tonight my fingers are flowing freely and so I am just going to blog and see if I can unblock. I'm finding myself drawn to other blogs that share something more than just great photographs . . . the blogs that let me into someone's personal life just a little bit. So I'm going to do that a little bit more. I do love to write, and I'm not a shy person. The photos speak for themselves, and either connect to someone or they don't. What's just as important is to have the same connection with the beautiful couples I get to work with. I want them to feel like they know me long before their wedding day.

And because I like pretty things, my blog is getting a makeover and my website a major redo! Save-the-Date cards and holiday greeting cards are in the works. I've started an inspiration journal, if you will, of ideas and photographs and just beautiful images that inspire me. And I have a new lens arriving tomorrow! :) Among the change, all is very, very well.
