natalie and dane's beautiful engagement session!

Tonight I spent a few hours with the oh-so-delightful and fun Natalie and Dane out at their amazing home in Bozeman. I met this couple last week at little Ayden's first birthday party as Natalie is Ayden's aunt. Nat and Dane are having a fabulous destination wedding next month in Arizona and wanted some engagement photos to share with friends and family and were sweet enough to call upon me to do this for them. I knew from talking with Natalie back and forth over the past few days that it was going to be fun and easy, and I also knew this couple was going to be easy on the lens since they're sooo beautiful. Well, it turns out they are as kind as they are gorgeous. They made me feel so welcome, and I truly enjoyed the evening. Natalie and Dane, I wish you an amazing wedding and I hope we can spend more time together when things settle down for you both.

Now, onto the photos. Natalie is a Ressler, which is a well-known name in Bozeman because it's who we buy all of our vehicles from! Well, it turns out Natalie's dad also has the most extensive Corvette collection in the . . . world? Definitely in the U.S. I asked her this morning if we could borrow a 'vet for a few photos and she happily obliged. If anyone out there is interested in this collection, you can view the cars at www.thefirstcorvette.com. Carson and I spent some time looking at them tonight and they are beautiful!

So here is the one we got to play with. I know it's a 1962 but that's all I know :) This coming from a woman who once blew up a Cadillac because I was pouring engine coolant into the overflow rather than the radiator. Oops!

Let me back up a bit. We started out on this very sweet and romantic little bridge . . .

And quickly moved to the open fields so we could enjoy the sunshine! Today was a perfect day weather-wise.

I know the sun is right in Dane's face in this photo but I still love it!

And I know that technically this picture is all wrong but I also heart this one just as much!

I did this same type of photo at this past weekend's wedding and I loved how it came out so I tried it tonight and again, love it.

The bling . . .

I hope Natalie's dad doesn't hate me for this . . .

Or this! Ha! But it's totally hot!

Photobucket

Isn't she simply gorgeous?

And here's a nice photo that can be hung in anyone's home :) Brides, if you're ever wondering whether or not I actually take a simple portrait like this, the answer is YES! I take plenty. I just love the un-posed stuff more so that's what I share!

Natalie and Dane are big golfers so we wandered over to the putting green for some practice. It was too cute, Dane was actually telling her how to putt but I'm sure she wins every round :)

Just a fun one to frame for an end table somewhere in the house!

And my favorite from the night . . .

So fun! Thanks again for a fabulous evening!

Much love,
Morgan

Morgan, I don't know you or at least I don't think I do. I am a friend of Irene's. My husband was one of Chad's best men in their wedding. Anyways, I got your link from her blog. I really enjoy all of your photos. We live in MI and I wish we lived closer to you b/c we would for sure want you to take our pics. Keep up the good work and good luck with the business!
