Kristin and Travis tied the ol' knot yesterday at beautiful Chico Hot Springs on an amazingly beautiful day - as Kristin's sister, Heidi, said it perfectly, you ordered sun and snow and you got both! It was a perfect day - mid-30's to 40-degree temperatures, a recent snowfall that left a few inches all over southwest Montana, and a couple who is genuinely so in love . . .
Before I photograph a wedding, I spent quite a bit of time thinking about the kind of portraits I want to give the couple based on what I've seen during their engagement shoot. With Kristin and Travis, their interactions with each other are priceless, and the best photographs I have taken of them are when they are just simply being together, kissing and canoodling, talking to each other, and relaxing. So that was my goal for them - to give them simple, timeless photographs of them being themselves.
Here are some of my favorites of the day, and of course there is a link to the slideshow at the end of the post . . .
Kinley was very anxious to get her hair finished!
Hands down, best choice of shoes for a wedding EVER :)
Travis and Kristin, being their gorgeous selves . . .
I do love the composition of this photo . . .
And the bouquets were ridiculous!
Hands-down, cutest flower girl and ring bearer in history.
And best groom cake! Kristin's sister made this cake . . . Travis is a big time snowmobiler (and bull-rider!) and even went out the day before his wedding, so I'm told. :)
One last one of this beautiful couple . . .
Click here for the SLIDESHOW! No, it's not a sappy song, this couple was all about having fun! Enjoy :)
