hey, it's my first contest!

Hi party people!

So I'm on the prowl for some super fun, totally original ideas for names for my wedding packages for the 2009 season. I've decided to offer three packages to keep it simple enough, and here they are!

Package 1:
Unlimited wedding day coverage
Online slideshow set to music
Online gallery for viewing and ordering

Package 2:
Unlimited wedding day coverage
Pre-wedding photo shoot (typically either engagement shoot or rehearsal dinner)
Online slideshow set to music
Online gallery for viewing and ordering
Bound proof book

Package 3:
Unlimited wedding day coverage
Rehearsal dinner coverage
Engagement photo shoot
Online slideshow set to music
Online gallery for viewing and ordering
Custom-designed album with 100 of your favorite images

I'm not getting into all that crap that looks like this:
Up to 5 hours of coverage
Proof album
Parent album with 46 of their favorite images
(1) 8 x 10 print
(2) 5 x 7 prints
(3) 4 x 6 prints
Grandparent album with 37 of their favorite images
Coffee-table book with a cover of your choice in a leather, suede or cowhide finish
Additional hours charged at $5,000 per hour

Okay, so obviously that last line is a bit extreme but my theme is simple, classic and memorable. I want customers to walk away from a meeting with me not feeling overwhelmed with their options, but rather pleasantly relaxed, and of course, moved by my images. So that's where y'all come in! (Again, I'm totally not from the south, I'm from upstate New York, but there is something about the word "y'all" that I just love!)

So here's what you do . . . leave a comment with your suggestions! You don't have to leave your name, just sign in as anonymous. Be as creative as you can. Don't think the typical Bronze, Silver, Gold or Carnation, Rose, Orchid. I'm all into phrases, too, like Like It, Love It, Gotta Have It, but Cold Stone Creamery has that one going on for them already.

Whoever wins gets a $50 gift certificate to their favorite restaurant! Woooooo hooooooo!

So don't make me look like a loser, leave a comment with your ideas and let's get this contest off and running! I'm no dummy, I have a counter on my blog, I know you people are stopping by! :)

Happy Thursday!

OK Morgan, I'll give this a shot to get the contest going. I am NOT a creative person AT ALL. I was a math major in college--very black & white one-dimensional kind of girl but how about this......
Since when a bride gets married, you want her to feel like a princess on her day; give the three packages princess names. The first one could be Jasmine, the second one Snow White and the third one Cinderella. I am not really sure which ones are the most popular but I would try to do the most popular one as #3 (Sara is sadly out of the princess age so I'm not sure which one should be which but you have two small girls so you can pick). Just a suggestion to get the ball rolling!

Okay Morgan I myself am still pondering, but my hubby said he would call them Royal flush, full house, and straight. Can you guess what he likes to do???
Ryan Munson says to name them cheap, affortable, and expensive hehe. Sara Munson agree's with her mother with the princess names WHICH I LOVE THE IDEA.........Okay I need more time to think when is the contest over....

Morgan,
You can keep it simple too. Sweet, sweeter, sweetest. Of course one doesn't have to be better than the other, just more choices. So how about Lace, Chiffon and silk :)
