the converse family

Last night I got to photograph the beautiful Converse family, friends of mine from waaay back. Erika and I graduated from high school together, and she married Ryan, who is the brother of Carrie, whose wedding I helped photograph earlier this month. Erika and Ryan have been together since high school and have two darling little girls, Mackenzie and Madison. We met out at their camp on the lake at Mooney Bay Marina and it was a beautiful night . . . we spent quite a bit of time chasing little Maddy around because she was feeling pretty wild and free, running around and getting down with her bad self. But the face . . . oh, the face. See what I mean?

The girls were very excited about their new puppy, Wilson, and I can't say I blame them. Here is Mackenzie, who is just perfect in front of the camera, holding her new friend:

And here is the couple responsible for this insane cuteness:

Some of my family favorites . . . note Madison's face in some of them. She's a total ham!

And the girlies . . .

I love to watch dads interact with their little girls. They always think they want boys until they get their necks squeezed by the chubby little arms of their daughters.

Mackenzie is just stunning. Watch out Ryan!

You gotta love a girl with big brown eyes!

This was my favorite family photo. They wanted a shot of them in front of my boat since they just love it so much and wish they had one just like it. Ha!

And y'all know I love my feet shots!

What the hell, here's one more!

Thanks for such a fun evening and great photo shoot and all the laughs afterwards! Can't wait to see you guys again soon!

Morgan,
What can a proud Grandma say when she sees what you can capture in pictures. You did a wonderful job, and even made Miss Madi look almost angelic!!! I absolutely love everything you do with a camera. It was wonderful having you home for a while. I hate to see you go, but I know how much you have missed your hubby and how much your beautiful daughters need their daddy. I hope you have a goood trip home,...well as good as it can get travelling alone with two energetic little ones. Give Carson a big kiss & hug from all of us for allowing you to spend three weeks in The Burgh and we can't wait until the next time!!! Love you sooooooo much, your warm and bubbly personality lights up the world and everyone shines when you are near!!!!
