claire + steven: 9.26.09

Claire and Steven's wedding was truly one of those life-changing experiences for me, and I kid you not when I tell you I think about this couple, about Claire's passion, every single day since I met them. In the midst of such changes happening in my life, and not quite knowing the right way to love a man and enter into new relationships at almost 30 years old, Claire reminded me to simply love, with every bit of passion and fire inside you . . . and that the right person will love you back, maybe even harder. She is so incredibly passionate about everything - she smiles twice as big as she needs to and cries twice as hard as she should, but she doesn't care, because she is living and loving every single thing about her life, and the people in it.

Claire wore Steven's grandmother's wedding dress and walked barefoot :)

Roys' Barn and the ceremony site . . . oh, how I love Montana!

The toasts were extremely emotional, because this couple is just so wonderful in the first place, and also become Steven's dad had passed away a couple years prior to the wedding, and his friends spoke amazing words about that time in Steven's life, and the bond of his friendships because of it.

The party upstairs started with line dancing, moved to Claire and Steven's first dance, and ended with Claire singing Stand by Me in her adorable turquoise dress she'd changed into . . . the whole experience was priceless :).

And not a bad view to walk away from after such a perfect day . . .

Claire and Steven, I am a better woman for having met you. Thank you for showing how right and beautiful it is to love with every part of your being. I needed that. :) Much love, happiness and success to you both!

There are things that happen in your life to lead you to this place. This place I am referring to is better because you are a part of it....meeting you has changed MY life. We all need more Claire's in the world. I love your photography of this wedding, Morgan! Keep up the great work!
