I met up with this sweet couple today on Chazy Lake for some maternity photos of the darling Laura . . . Bobby and I used to rock the class of 1998 at Seton Catholic and I don't think I'd seen him in ten years! It was good to catch up and wonderful to spend time with this beautiful couple. Laura is going to be the most amazing mommy ever, without a doubt . . .
Kara is an old friend of mine from Denver days, and now she's about to have her second baby! I can't tell you how many bar tops we've danced on, and I even got to spend some time with her in the hospital before her epidural while she was in labor with Addison :) Makes me want one just thinking about it! Kara is also married to a wonderful man who is one of Carson's best friends.
Kara was born to be a mommy. She's from Missouri, and she says y'all. She also hunts, fishes and sets a dining room table like Martha Stewart. It was so wonderful to spend time with this family tonight. Carson and Mike hunted all day, and together this evening we had pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes and fresh green beans for din-din while the girls chased one another.
Can't wait to meet little Nolan James! And neither can Addison :)

Last night Hillary and I had a bonding experience like we've never had before . . . half naked. :) Hillary was my very best friend all though high school and we still pick right up from where we left off when we get together. She is a beautiful, radiant pregnant mama, expecting her second little boy in October. Here are some of my favorites:

I asked her to throw herself down on her brick fireplace for some super comfortable, very relaxed and natural looking poses. I know she does this often, so it made sense to make a great maternity photo, right?
This one is definitely one of my favorites . . . she makes laying on bricks look so glamorous!
We moved it into the bedroom for some true comfort :)
She often lays on her bed in her underwear gazing off into the distance, so again I'm just trying to capture her true maternity essence here . . .

Tonight I photographed the lovely Ivory and her husband, Will, who are expecting their first little papoose in just three weeks. They were wonderful to work with, and I am so grateful to them for allowing me to photograph them during this very special time . . . click here for the slideshow!
