Tonight I had an amazing time photographing the Frey family, who I just adore for so many reasons. I first photographed this crew earlier in the year when I first launched, and I actually approached them about shooting them for my portfolio. They were so easy to photograph, and they seemed to truly enjoy themselves, which always makes a major difference in the photographs themselves. This time around, we did a session for the holidays and also for Connor's second birthday! Connor will be the big 2 on Halloween, and he sang Happy Birthday to himself for much of the shoot. :) He is so cute, and so happy, just about all the time. I hope he stays that way when his brother or sister arrives in March!
We took a drive over to Livingston to do the shoot on the Amaya Preserve, a ginormous and completely stunning piece of land that Jason's business owns and is developing. The views were out of this world, and you will see why I have no intention of ever leaving Montana.
Um, yeah.
But this family is just as beautiful, if not more so . . .
A few more of my favorites:
Audrey told me that when she met Jason, he was a real cowboy :) I LOVE this photo:
After our shoot we stopped at the Pop Stand for some burgers, fries, football, and fabulous chit chat! Turns out our 4-year anniversaries are coming up in December (ours the 12th, theirs the 18th), and our favorite sushi roll is the Widespread Panic from Dave's! And I'm excited for the boys to meet each other because they both love beer, hunting and football. :)
I did do a slideshow for them - I know how fun these are to share with family, and both Audrey and Jason's families are in Minnesota and North Dakota, and I'm sure they're missing little Connor something fierce! Click here to see more!
Audrey and Jason, thank you for a lovely evening! You are wonderful people and amazing parents and Connor is a very lucky little cowboy. :) See you next weekend!

Beautiful! I like the one of them standing in the doorway and Connor wearing the large cowboy hat.
Beautiful family and beautiful pictures! And yes, I can see why you would never want to leave Montana--breathtaking!
Morgan,
Thank you for spending the afternoon/evening with us...we had so much fun! Once again we are impressed with your work- way to go girl! We are looking forward to seeing you and your family this weekend. Thanks again!

I love this family and I don't even know them!! Caleb really liked these pictures and said, HEY HE'S A COWBOY JUST LIKE ME :) I think I have decided that we just CAN NOT have any family portraits done, unless it is you who does them.
